These door knockers are the quintessential Moroccan decor accessory, I remember always wanting to be the one to knock at my grandmother’s house in Marrakech because she had one very similar mounted at her door, my dad would pick me up so that I could reach it. They’re at every old door in the country (as seen in the last photo from an old door in the city of chefchaouen). These gems are handmade and hand carved in the beautiful city of Fes, Morocco, they’re nice and solid and sure to pick up a gorgeous patina with daily use.
